Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-03
This policy covers the aibiz.1bz.biz website and the AIBIZ Domain Resolver Chrome extension. We keep data collection minimal on purpose.
1. The Chrome extension
Data stored locally (via chrome.storage.sync):
- The resolver gateway URL (default
https://aibiz.1bz.biz/api/resolve)
- The IPFS gateway URL (default
https://ipfs.io/ipfs)
Nothing else — no browsing history, no personal data, no analytics, no advertising identifiers.
Data sent to our servers: when you navigate to a .aibiz hostname or use the popup/omnibox lookup, the extension sends the domain name to the configured resolver gateway as part of the URL path (for example /api/resolve/shashi). We do not store the request; the gateway answers from the blockchain and returns JSON.
What the extension does NOT do: it does not read tab contents, does not inject scripts into pages, does not track the sites you visit, does not use cookies, does not execute remote code. All extension JavaScript is packaged in the extension itself.
2. The aibiz.1bz.biz website
What we collect when you use the site:
- Buying a domain: we pass your Polygon wallet address and (optional) email to Stripe for payment processing. Payment itself is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details.
- Email: if you provide one, we use it only to send you the mint confirmation and any subscription-related notifications. We do not add you to marketing lists.
- Tunnel subscribers: we keep the Stripe subscription ID, customer ID, Tailscale hostname, and monthly bandwidth usage on our server, solely to run the service you paid for.
- Server logs: standard web-server logs (IP, timestamp, URL) kept for up to 30 days for abuse prevention and debugging. Not linked to wallets or emails.
- Analytics: we measure site traffic with first-party page-view logging and Google Analytics 4 (pages viewed, approximate country, referrer, browser). To count unique visitors we store an anonymized, salted hash of your IP + browser — we do not store your raw IP address for analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser; see “Third parties” below.
3. Third parties
- Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 — website traffic analytics. Sets cookies and processes usage data per Google's privacy policy. We do not send Google your wallet address or email.
- Polygonscan — the site calls their public API (with our API key) to look up domain ownership history. No personal data is sent.
- Public Polygon RPC — the site reads the smart contract via a public JSON-RPC endpoint. Standard Ethereum-style requests; no personal data.
4. On-chain data
Domain ownership and record values you set (url.redirect, ipfs.hash, crypto.ETH.address, etc.) are public on the Polygon blockchain by design. Anyone in the world can read them. Don't put secrets there.
5. Your choices
- Extension: you can uninstall it any time, which deletes the stored settings.
- Email: reply "unsubscribe" to any email you receive from us and we'll remove you from transactional sends.
- Data request / deletion: email shashikanthramamurthy@gmail.com.
6. Children
The service is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on aibiz.1bz.biz. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
